ESP Solutions has started one of its most ambitious projects, ESP Logistics, which will serve as a logistics platform for its new cold groupage project. The works for the creation of a logistics platform located in Casa Alta (Ceutí) have begun and it is expected that it can be fully operational by the second half of this year 2021.
ESP Logistics will have a total area of 4,000 square meters, of which 1,400 will be completely refrigerated, and fully adapted to the exchange of merchandise according to the required temperature and quality standards.
Within the framework of ESP Solutions’ commitment to energy efficiency and respect for the environment, the new facilities have photovoltaic panels that allow the generation of a large part of the electricity consumed on the platform. In addition, the warehouse is designed to enhance the use of natural light thanks to the skylights on its roof and has highly efficient LED lighting equipped with presence detectors. Natural refrigerants such as CO2 and ammonia will be used for cold storage rooms, which are more sustainable and efficient alternatives than other options available on the market.
To date, ESP Solutions, a specialist in pharmaceutical transport and e-commerce, has more than 750 vehicles, and will exceed 1,000 units, of which 400 will work with clean energy. This year 2021 will be a milestone for the company, by exceeding 100 million Euros in turnover for the first time, placing it in the Top 10 of transport companies in Spain.
